New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has directed IndiGo Airlines to submit an affidavit within two weeks detailing the refunds and compensation provided to passengers affected by widespread flight cancellations in December 2025. The bench questioned whether merely issuing refunds is sufficient and sought clarity on additional compensation measures for those stranded by the chaos. The mass disruption earlier involved thousands of cancelled and delayed flights, leaving hundreds of thousands of travellers inconvenienced. IndiGo has already initiated refunds and offered travel vouchers, but the court wants a clear, comprehensive compensation plan on record before the next hearing.
