Directed by Dhirav, Mellisai tells the inspiring story of a middle-aged man who gets a second chance to pursue the dreams he once had as a youngster — a theme that blends emotion, ambition and life’s struggles in a relatable way. Kishore has spoken about how the narrative’s question — what if you could chase your 20s aspirations at the doorstep of your 40s? — adds depth and meaning to the film.
