AIADMK leader and party Organising Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi following the signing of a significant trade agreement between India and the European Union. Palaniswami conveyed his message of appreciation through a post on the social media platform X, acknowledging the potential benefits the pact could bring to Indian — and particularly Tamil Nadu — traders and industry representatives.
In his message, Palaniswami said that various business and trade delegates from districts such as Erode, Tiruppur and Coimbatore have expressed their happiness over the deal and explained how it could positively impact their sectors. He thanked the Central Government under PM Modi’s leadership for facilitating the agreement and for efforts that could help boost economic opportunities.
Palaniswami also expressed optimism that similar forward-looking initiatives will be supported by the Centre in future, potentially bringing more developmental and commercial advantages to Tamil Nadu. His remarks reflect ongoing political engagement between state and national figures on matters of economic cooperation and growth.
