
Stating that the Union Budget 2026-27 is a unique yuva shakti-driven Budget, Finance Minister Nirmsla Sitharaman said that the Government’s sankalp is to focus on the poor, underprivileged and disadvantaged.
To deliver on this, the Government is inspired by three Kartavyas:
Accelerate and sustain economic growth and enhancing productivity and competitiveness and building resilience to volatile global dynamics
Fulfil aspirations of our people and build their capacity making them partners in India’s prosperity
Ensure that every family, sector and region has access to resources, amenities and opportunities for meaningful participation, she added.
This three-fold approach, the Finance Minister says, requires supportive ecosystem. These include sustaining the momentum of structural reforms, robust and resilient financial sector and cutting-edge technologies including AI applications
