French President Emmanuel Macron is set to embark on a three-day visit to India next week, during which he will participate in the AI Impact Summit and hold high-level talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi aimed at strengthening bilateral relations across key sectors, including trade, defence, and technology. The visit, scheduled to begin on February 17 in Mumbai, will mark a significant step in India-France relations. Macron and Modi will jointly inaugurate the India-France Year of Innovation in Mumbai, an initiative set to be celebrated throughout 2026 in both countries. The event will highlight collaborative efforts across sectors such as culture, trade, and technology, reflecting the commitment of both nations to fostering innovation-driven partnerships. During the visit, the two leaders are expected to hold comprehensive bilateral discussions in Mumbai.
