The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations has begun the process of evaluating answer sheets for this year’s Plus Two (12th Standard) public examinations, with correction work transitioning to a digital platform to improve efficiency and transparency for students across the state.Following the completion of the Plus Two academic exams, which saw around 8 lakh students participate, the directorate has initiated digital correction and data entry for evaluated answer sheets. This marks an important step in modernising the answer‑checking system and aims to speed up the process of finalising results ahead of the scheduled May 2026 announcement.
The directorate has deployed hundreds of trained evaluators in multiple centres across Tamil Nadu to carry out the marking and to ensure that student responses are scanned and entered into the digital system accurately. The adoption of digital correction is part of broader efforts to streamline examination operations and reduce errors linked to manual handling during evaluation.
