AP Loganathan, former Senior Adviser – Culture at the Consulate General of Japan in Chennai, was honoured with the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold and Silver Rays by the Government of Japan.
The award was conferred at a ceremony held yesterday by Muneo Takahashi, Consul General of Japan in Chennai. Loganathan, who has contributed significantly to promoting Japanese culture in India, received the accolade alongside his wife, Rajini Loganathan.
The award recognises Loganathan’s outstanding service in strengthening cultural ties between Japan and India, celebrating decades of dedication to fostering cross-cultural understanding and exchange.
