M. K. Stalin on Sunday said that attempts to distort the ideals of saint-reformer Ramalinga Vallalar would not succeed.
Speaking at an international conference held in honour of Vallalar, the Chief Minister said the 19th-century spiritual leader stood for compassion, equality and social justice. He emphasised that Vallalar’s teachings continue to inspire Tamil Nadu’s inclusive governance model.
Stalin warned against efforts to misinterpret the saint’s philosophy for political purposes and urged people to uphold his message of universal brotherhood and humanitarian values. He reiterated the state government’s commitment to preserving Tamil Nadu’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
