His message echoed a strong sense of identity and linguistic pride, with a call for Tamil to flourish forever.
Kamal Haasan, in a deeply personal note, described his mother tongue as something that lives within him. He said Tamil is not merely a language but an inseparable part of his body and soul — one that surfaces in his thoughts, emotions and expressions. Reflecting on how Tamil has shaped his life, he portrayed it as his breath and inner voice, extending his wishes to all on the special day.
