National Award-winning filmmaker Prasanth Varma has officially launched Jai Hanuman, the much-anticipated sequel to HanuMan, marking the next chapter in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe. The film stars National Award winner Rishab Shetty in the lead role as Lord Hanuman and is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, with T-Series presenting it.
The project was launched in a traditional and majestic ceremony at Anjanadri Betta, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. Producer Bhushan Kumar sounded the clapboard, while Anil Thadani rolled the camera for the inaugural shot directed by HanuMan actor Teja Sajja.
Mounted on a grand scale, Jai Hanuman is envisioned as a high-octane action epic set in Kaliyug, celebrating devotion, strength, and the timeless spirit of Hanuman. With music by M. M. Keeravani and cinematography by S. Thirunavukkarasu, the film promises mythological grandeur backed by top-tier technical standards. Regular shooting is expected to begin soon.
