Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president and popular actor Vijay is scheduled to meet and interact with party functionaries from eight assembly constituencies in Thanjavur district on Wednesday.
The event will be held at an open area in Ayyasamipatti, near Sengipatti, covering ten acres, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Thanjavur district police granted permission for the meeting, subject to 52 conditions to ensure safety and smooth conduct. Around 4,900 party functionaries are expected to participate.
The process began on February 28, when TVK submitted a request to the district superintendent of police, R. Rajaram.
The site was inspected on Monday by Thiruvaiyaru deputy superintendent of police J. Arulmozhi Arasu, who reviewed arrangements for basic amenities, parking, and other logistical requirements.
