Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to join Rajinikanth for shooting his portions in the much‑anticipated Tamil film Jailer 2 in Chennai on 14 March.

According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan will portray a police officer in the action‑drama, marking his first significant role in a major South Indian film. The collaboration between the two superstars has generated excitement among fans across India.

Jailer 2 is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures. The film’s ensemble cast also includes Vinayakan, Priya Bhavani Shankar and others. Shot across multiple locations, Jailer 2 is one of the most awaited releases in Tamil cinema this year.

Shah Rukh’s participation adds a pan‑Indian flavour to the project as production ramps up ahead of the film’s release.
