Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, who has been given additional charge as the Governor of Tamil Nadu, will assume office on Thursday.
The swearing-in ceremony will take place at Lok Bhavan in Chennai, where the oath of office will be administered by the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court.
Arlekar currently serves as the Governor of Kerala and has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Tamil Nadu until further arrangements are made for the post.
