The makers of Hi, starring Nayanthara and Kavin in the lead roles, have announced that the film will release in theatres in April 2026.
The film marks the directorial debut of Vishnu Edavan, a lyricist who previously worked as an assistant director with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Vishnu has written popular songs such as “Badass” from Leo, “Porkonda Singam” from Vikram, and “Polakattum Para Para” from Master.
The music for the film is composed by Jen Martin, while the technical crew includes cinematographer Rajesh Shukla and editor Philomin Raj. The action sequences are choreographed by Dinesh Kasi, with art direction by B Sekar. Additional screenplay and dialogues have been written by CU Muthuselvan.
The film is produced by Nayanthara along with Vignesh Shivan, SS Lalit Kumar and Umesh Kumar Bansal, with KS Mayilvaganan serving as co-producer. It is backed by the banners Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio.
