Amid political speculation ahead of the Assembly elections, AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami denied reports of alliance talks with actor-politician Vijay and his Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.
Speaking at an event hosted by journalist Rangaraj Pandey, Palaniswami said there had been no discussions or contact between the AIADMK and TVK.
He also dismissed speculation about a rift with former BJP State President K. Annamalai, stating that there were no differences within the NDA alliance in Tamil Nadu.
Expressing confidence ahead of the Assembly elections, Palaniswami said the AIADMK-led alliance would form the next government in the State, asserting that the party’s vote bank remained strong despite the ruling DMK’s current numerical strength.
