Tamizhaga Vaazhvurimai Katchi (TVK) of T Velmurugan severed its ties with the DMK and walked out of the multi-party Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA) alleging improper treatment to it by the big brother.
Talking to reporters, Velmurugan said he had issued a 24 hour ultimatum to the DMK to invite his party for seat sharing talks.
Since no invite has been received, he has decided to quit the front, he added.
Asserting that he would never join the AIADMK-Led Front which has the BJP, Velmurugan, who was seen as the Vanniyar face in the DMK Front, said his party would enter into alliance with the party tht accepts the 10-point charter of demands listed out by the TVK.
