Chennai, Apr 2
Gold prices in Chennai fell by ₹800 per sovereign on Thursday, providing some relief to buyers amid fluctuating bullion rates. Silver also saw movement, with the metal priced at ₹255 per gram in local markets.
Traders said the decline in gold prices reflects short-term market fluctuations influenced by global trends and trading activity. The change in rates comes as many residents consider buying jewellery or investing in physical metals ahead of upcoming festivals and weddings
Market analysts advise buyers to monitor price trends closely, as bullion rates can change daily based on international demand and currency movements.
