Chennai, Apr 6:

After days of intense heat, parts of Chennai witnessed welcome summer showers, bringing much-needed relief to residents. Areas including Mylapore, Koyambedu, Guindy, and Ekkaduthangal experienced spells of rain, cooling down temperatures across the city.

The sudden change in weather brought cheer among the public, with many residents heaving a sigh of relief after the scorching conditions. The showers not only reduced the heat but also improved overall comfort levels during the day.

eanwhile, localities such as Tambaram, Pallavaram, and Chromepet remained under cloudy skies, indicating the possibility of more rain. The pleasant weather has offered a brief respite, with residents hoping for continued showers in the coming days.
