Actor-politician Ramarajan has stepped into the campaign trail for the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), canvassing support for the party’s candidates in the ongoing Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
According to reports, Ramarajan campaigned in support of TVK nominees, appealing to voters to back the party and its leadership. He highlighted the need for political change in the State and urged the public to give an opportunity to TVK.
The veteran actor, known for his strong rural connect, focused on grassroots outreach during his campaign, interacting with local residents and party workers. He emphasised issues concerning farmers and rural development while pitching for TVK’s electoral prospects.
TVK, led by actor-turned-politician Vijay, is contesting the 2026 Assembly elections independently across the State, positioning itself as an alternative to the Dravidian majors.
Ramarajan’s participation is seen as part of the party’s strategy to leverage popular film personalities to strengthen its campaign and connect with voters at the grassroots level.
