The Nepalese government has made public the property details of Prime Minister Balendra Shah and his Council of Ministers.
The disclosures, released by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Sunday evening, are now available on the government’s official website.
According to the filings, Prime Minister Shah reported inherited gold holdings under his spouse’s name and listed income earned through social media platforms. He also declared family-owned properties in Kathmandu, Dhanusha, and Mahottari. Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle disclosed multiple houses and apartments, citing foreign employment as a primary source of income.
His portfolio includes bank deposits, gold, and investments in a development bank and various hydropower projects.
Home Minister Sudan Gurung reported landholdings in Dhankuta and inherited properties in Chitwan and Gorkha, alongside significant investments in the stock market. Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sobita Gautam listed houses in Kathmandu and Chitwan, bank savings, and holdings of gold, silver, and diamonds.
