Chennai,  Apr 15:

Chennai Super Kings continued their resurgence with a convincing 32-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders, registering their second consecutive win of the season in MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Batting first, CSK posted a competitive 192/5 in 20 overs after a strong start. However, KKR bowlers, led by Sunil Narine and Varun Chakaravarthy, pulled things back in the middle overs, slowing the scoring rate. Kartik Tyagi also chipped in with two wickets.

In response, KKR struggled against CSK’s disciplined spin attack. Noor Ahmad starred with three wickets, while Akeal Hosein kept things tight, conceding just 26 runs in his four overs.

With this defeat, KKR remain winless after five matches this season, with their only point coming from a washout, as CSK gained crucial momentum in the tournament.
