The team of Love Insurance Company (LIK) came together to celebrate the film’s success at a Thanksgiving meet, expressing gratitude to audiences and the media for the strong response since its worldwide release on April 10.
Starring Pradeep Ranganathan and directed by Vignesh Shivan, the film has been running successfully in theatres with positive reception from fans.
Addressing the gathering, S. J. Suryah praised the director’s commitment, stating that the film’s success reflects the hard work and perfection that went into every frame. He also lauded Pradeep Ranganathan’s rise, noting that the actor has earned immense love from audiences.
The film’s music by Anirudh Ravichander was highlighted as a major strength that elevated its emotional impact.
Director Vignesh Shivan described the film’s release itself as a “blockbuster moment,” emphasising that stepping out of his comfort zone to create a fresh cinematic experience was a key motivation.
While acknowledging mixed reviews in some quarters, he said such feedback would help him improve and expressed confidence that the film would achieve major box office success. He credited Pradeep Ranganathan and the technical team for making the project possible.
Actors Krithi Shetty and Gouri Kishan shared their happiness over the audience response, with the latter noting that the emotional depth of her character had resonated well with viewers. Deepika Venkatachalam said the film helped her understand the collective effort behind filmmaking and appreciated the opportunity to be part of it.
The film also features a special appearance by Seeman, along with performances from Yogi Babu and others. Cinematography is handled by Ravi Varman, while editing is by Pradeep E. Raghav.
Produced by Rowdy Pictures, led by Nayanthara, and presented by Seven Screen Studio under S. S. Lalit Kumar, the film continues its successful theatrical run, drawing strong crowds across centres.
