Actor-producer Dhanush’s banner Wunderbar Films has announced its next venture, tentatively titled Production 20. The upcoming film will be written and directed by Ramesh Nandhan, marking his feature film debut after working on music videos.
The project will also see Haritha Lingasamy of Primark Productions joining Dhanush as co-producer. The makers have stated that details regarding the film’s cast and technical crew will be announced at a later stage.
Wunderbar Films, which began its journey with the critically acclaimed 3 directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, has since backed several notable films including Ethir Neechal, Velaiilla Pattadhari, Kaaka Muttai, Naanum Rowdydhaan, Visaranai, Kaala, and Vada Chennai, earning a reputation for both commercial and critically acclaimed cinema.
The banner’s most recent production was Idli Kadai, which was directed by and starred Dhanush. Its upcoming project, tentatively titled D55, is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and features a cast including Sreeleela and Sai Pallavi alongside Dhanush.
On the acting front, Dhanush will next be seen in Kara, directed by Vignesh Raja. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Mamitha Baiju, Suraj Venjaramoodu, K. S. Ravikumar, Karunas, Jayaram, Prithvi Pandiarajan, M. S. Bhaskar, and Sreeja Ravi among others.
