Chennai, April 22:
DMK chief M. K. Stalin on Tuesday expressed confidence that his party would secure victory in the upcoming Assembly elections, while urging cadres and voters to remain vigilant till the final stage of polling.
In his letter to party workers, the Chief Minister said the electoral outcome was “certain,” but cautioned against complacency, stressing that continuous monitoring and active participation were crucial to ensure a fair process.
He emphasised the importance of safeguarding every vote, particularly in the context of electoral roll verification and booth-level management. Stalin called on party functionaries to ensure that eligible voters are not left out and that polling procedures are conducted smoothly.
The DMK leader also highlighted the need for grassroots-level coordination, urging cadres to stay alert against any irregularities and to strengthen outreach efforts until polling concludes.
His remarks come at a crucial juncture, as Tamil Nadu prepares for voting, with political parties intensifying last-minute mobilisation efforts across the State.
