Islamabad, Apr 25:

Iran has ruled out any direct engagement with the United States, even as its Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Islamabad for high-level diplomatic discussions.

According to Iranian officials, Araghchi’s visit is part of ongoing efforts led by Pakistan to mediate between Tehran and Washington amid heightened tensions. However, Tehran has made it clear that no face-to-face talks with US officials are planned during the visit.

A spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry stated that any communication with the US would be conducted indirectly through Pakistani intermediaries, underscoring Iran’s continued reluctance for direct negotiations at this stage.
