The makers of Karuppu, starring Suriya, have announced that the film’s audio launch will be held in Madurai on April 26, building momentum ahead of its theatrical release on May 14.
Director RJ Balaji took to social media to confirm that the event will take place at Solaimalai College of Engineering. Adding to the excitement, music composer Sai Abhyankkar is set to perform live during the launch, making it a major promotional event in the southern city.
The film marks the reunion of Suriya with Trisha after their earlier collaboration in Aaru (2005). The ensemble cast also features Yogi Babu, Indrans, Sshivada, Swasika, Natty, Supreeth Reddy and Anagha Maya Ravi in key roles.
On the technical front, the film features cinematography by GK Vishnu, editing by Kalaivanan, art direction by Arun Venjaramoodu, and stunt choreography by Vikram Mor. Backed by Dream Warrior Pictures, the project reunites Suriya with his NGK producers SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu.
Meanwhile, Suriya is also gearing up for upcoming projects, including Vishwanath & Sons directed by Venky Atluri and another film with Jithu Madhavan, further strengthening his packed slate.
