The shooting of Peddi, starring Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, has been officially completed, with the makers announcing a worldwide theatrical release on June 4.
Backed by producer Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film is being mounted on a massive scale.
The release date poster has already generated buzz, featuring Ram Charan in an intense avatarâcovered in blood, sweat, and dustâcapturing the raw and aggressive tone of the film.
The early June release is seen as a strategic move, coinciding with the tail end of summer holidays, which is expected to boost footfalls across markets before the academic season begins. Trade analysts believe this window offers the film a strong nationwide run.
The team recently wrapped a lavish special number composed by A. R. Rahman on a grand set in Hyderabad, marking the completion of the shoot. The song is expected to be one of the major highlights, while post-production work is progressing simultaneously.
Ram Charan is said to have undergone significant transformation for the film, as seen in the initial glimpses showcasing him in contrasting looks. His energetic dance performances are also expected to add to the filmâs appeal.
The film features a strong ensemble cast including Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in key roles.
