In a remarkable political debut, members of the family of Santiago Martin have secured victories in the 2026 Assembly elections across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, marking a significant entry into electoral politics.
According to reports, three key members of the family—Leema Rose Martin, Jose Charles Martin, and Aadhav Arjuna—have all won their respective constituencies.
Leema Rose Martin, contesting from Lalgudi, and Aadhav Arjuna, who represented Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, emerged victorious in Tamil Nadu.
Meanwhile, Jose Charles Martin, founder of the Latchiya Jananayaga Katchi (LJK), secured a win in Puducherry as part of the NDA alliance.
What makes the achievement particularly notable is that the three members contested under different political platforms—AIADMK, TVK, and NDA—effectively spreading their political presence across parties and regions.
