S. S. Rajamouli has reportedly taken the promotions of his upcoming film Varanasi to the international stage, with the film’s team set to travel to France as part of its global campaign.
According to reports, the makers had earlier invited several international journalists to Hyderabad to witness the shooting process and behind-the-scenes production activities of the film.
After showcasing footage from the film at an event in Mexico recently, the team is now planning a special screening event in France by the end of June.
The film is said to blend elements of time travel and the Ramayana in a globe-trotting adventure format. The cast includes Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles. The film is expected to release in April 2027.
