Senior AIADMK leader M. Thambidurai has expressed confidence that Edappadi K. Palaniswami will return to power, even as Tamil Nadu witnesses intense post-election uncertainty.
Speaking to reporters after meeting EPS, Thambidurai said that a government under his leadership would be formed soon and would deliver âgood governanceâ to the people. He added that consultations are currently underway and expressed optimism that developments would unfold positively.
Notably, Thambidurai declined to clarify whether the National Democratic Alliance would continue its association with the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, keeping alliance options open amid fluid political equations.
His remarks come at a time when no party has secured a clear majority in the Assembly, triggering hectic negotiations and speculation over possible alliances.
With multiple formations exploring pathways to the crucial 118-mark, Thambiduraiâs assertion signals that the AIADMK camp remains firmly in the race to stake claim to power.
