Key bureaucratic reshuffle across TN administration

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Tamil Nadu government has announced a series of key postings and transfers involving senior IAS officers across various departments and districts.

Chennai, May 30:

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Tamil Nadu government has announced a series of key postings and transfers involving senior IAS officers across various departments and districts.

P.S. Lalitha Alex has been appointed as Joint Managing Director of TWAD Board, while also serving as a Member of the Chennai Rivers Restoration Trust. R. Revathi has been posted as Deputy Secretary in the Higher Education Department, and M. Veerappan has taken charge as Thanjavur Collector.

K. Balasubramaniam has been appointed as Chengalpattu Collector and will also serve as Additional Secretary in the Public Relations Department. K. Tharpagaraj has been posted as Director of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy, while R. Satheesh has assumed office as Tiruvannamalai Collector and Additional Registrar of Cooperative Societies.

Dharmapuri will be headed by Collector Mangat Ram Sharma, who has also been assigned as Director of Welfare of Overseas Tamils. J. Jayakanthan has been appointed Chairman of Poompuhar Shipping Corporation after serving as Former Water Resources Secretary.

E. Saravanavelraj has been posted as Managing Director of the Minorities Welfare Department, while P.N. Sridhar has taken charge as Commissioner of HR & CE and Managing Director of Green Energy Corporation. S.P. Karthika has been appointed Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise as well as CEO of CMDA.

R.V. Sanjeevana has been named CEO of the Rural Transformation Project and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Textbook Corporation. Simranjeet Singh has been posted as Ramanathapuram Collector and Secretary of the Chennai Rivers Restoration Department.

P. Ganesan has been appointed Managing Director of Tiruppur Area Development Corporation, while Ranjit Singh will serve as Theni Collector and Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Rural Development Finance Corporation.

V.R. Subbulakshmi has been posted as Vellore Collector and will also serve as Chief Operating Officer of the Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Project.

The reshuffle is aimed at strengthening governance, improving administrative efficiency, and ensuring effective implementation of key government schemes across the State.
