Chennai, June 4:
The Chennai District Collector has announced that a district-level National Apprenticeship Training Camp will be conducted on June 10, 2026, at the R.K. Nagar Industrial Training Institute (ITI).
Candidates who have completed ITI, Class 8, Class 10, and Class 12 are eligible to participate in the selection process for apprenticeship training opportunities.
Officials said selected candidates will undergo structured training and will be awarded a National Apprenticeship Certificate upon successful completion of the programme.
The apprenticeship initiative also offers a monthly stipend ranging from ₹8,000 to ₹18,000 for trainees, depending on the trade and placement.
The camp is expected to benefit students and job seekers across Chennai and nearby districts by providing skill development and employment opportunities.
