Dubai, June 9:

A tragic road accident in Dubai has claimed the lives of several Indian workers after a minibus collided with a stationary truck on a major highway, authorities confirmed.

The incident occurred on Monday on Emirates Road, where a truck had reportedly broken down due to a technical fault and stopped in the middle of the road. A minibus carrying workers rammed into the truck from behind, leading to multiple casualties.

According to Dubai Police, seven people were killed and nine others injured in the crash. Among the injured, five sustained serious injuries while four suffered moderate wounds, and all were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
