The team of the upcoming pan-India action film “Slum Dog – 33 Temple Road”, starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead, held a grand press meet and teaser launch event in the city, drawing significant attention from media and film personalities.
Produced by Puri Connects in association with JB Motion Pictures and directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film has already generated strong buzz since its title and first look announcement. Speaking at the event, producer JB Narayan Rao Kondrola expressed pride in debuting as a producer with a project featuring Vijay Sethupathi, while thanking the cast and crew for their support.
Producer Charmme Kaur described the film as a blend of action and emotion, marking her return to Chennai in a new role as a producer. She highlighted the film’s strong casting, including Tabu, Duniya Vijay, and Samyuktha, and emphasised its wide-scale release in multiple languages. Director Puri Jagannadh revealed that the film is inspired by real-life incidents and explores the untold stories behind people often overlooked in society.
Vijay Sethupathi, addressing the media, praised the team and director, calling the project emotionally rich and technically strong. He expressed confidence that the film would resonate with audiences across languages. The film’s music is composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, with six songs promised to offer a fresh experience.
With a strong ensemble cast including Samyuktha, Tabu, Duniya Vijay, Brahmaji, and VTV Ganesh, the film is set for a grand multilingual release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, raising expectations among fans nationwide.
