Chennai, June 30:
The Aavin has clarified that there is no reduction in milk supply across Chennai, dismissing recent reports suggesting otherwise. The state-run dairy cooperative assured that all milk variants are being distributed normally through its regular network without any disruption.
According to Aavin, the city receives an average of 14.50 lakh litres of milk ежедневно, and supply continues based on consumer demand. The cooperative also highlighted a rise in sales, noting that average daily milk distribution increased from 14.46 lakh litres in June 2025 to 14.82 lakh litres in June 2026—an increase of about 36,000 litres per day.
Reiterating its commitment, Aavin stated that it will continue to ensure uninterrupted milk supply to residents across Chennai, maintaining stability in distribution despite rumours.
