Chennai, July 1:

Vijay is set to launch a dedicated mobile application for residents of Perambur, aimed at improving the process of registering public grievances and civic complaints. The initiative comes as part of efforts to strengthen local governance and provide faster solutions to everyday issues faced by the public.

Through the proposed app, residents will be able to submit complaints, requests, and other civic concerns directly from their mobile devices. All submissions will be routed to the Chief Minister’s Special Cell, ensuring that issues receive prompt attention from the concerned authorities. Officials have indicated that most complaints are expected to be resolved within three days, making the system more efficient than traditional grievance channels.

In addition to complaint registration, the platform will also allow users to submit service-related requests and access public service information separately. This is expected to improve communication between citizens and the government, while also enhancing transparency in the grievance redressal process.

The application is expected to be launched soon by Chief Minister Vijay along with M. K. Anbazhagan. The move reflects the government’s focus on digital solutions to address civic issues more effectively, especially in urban areas where quick response mechanisms are essential.
