Chennai, July 3:

The Government of Tamil Nadu has officially announced the fee structure for admissions to private nursing and pharmacy colleges across the state, bringing clarity for students seeking admission under both Government and Management quotas.

As per the notification, the annual fee for B.Sc. Nursing has been fixed at ₹60,000 under the Government Quota, while students admitted under the Management Quota will have to pay ₹1,20,000 per year. Similarly, for the B.Pharm course, the fee has been set at ₹50,000 under the Government Quota and ₹1,00,000 under the Management Quota.

The government has also specified the fee for Diploma in Nursing courses. Students admitted under the Government Quota will pay ₹35,000 annually, whereas those under the Management Quota will be charged ₹75,000 per year.

Officials stated that the revised fee structure aims to ensure transparency and uniformity in admissions while balancing affordability for students and sustainability for private institutions. The move is also expected to streamline the admission process for the upcoming academic year.

Students aspiring to join private nursing and pharmacy colleges in Tamil Nadu have been advised to carefully review the official admission guidelines and fee notifications before completing their application and counselling procedures.

The announcement comes at a crucial time as thousands of students prepare for professional course admissions, with clarity on fee structures playing a key role in decision-making and financial planning.
