Chennai, July 8:

The National Testing Agency has extended the deadline for candidates to apply for a refund of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test application fee. Earlier, the last date to submit refund requests was July 7, but candidates have now been given additional time until the night of July 14.

This decision comes after the cancellation of the NEET examination that was conducted in May. Following the cancellation, the NTA initiated steps to return the fees paid by applicants and has now provided this extended window to ensure that more candidates can complete the refund process without difficulty.

Candidates have been advised to make use of this opportunity not only to submit their refund requests but also to carefully verify their bank account details. The agency has clarified that applicants can make necessary corrections to their banking information during this period to avoid delays or issues in receiving the refunded amount.

The extension is expected to benefit a large number of students who may have missed the earlier deadline, giving them another chance to secure their refunds smoothly.
