The trailer of the upcoming Tamil film Anbe Diana, produced by Million Dollar Studios and Neo Castle Creations, was unveiled at a grand event in Chennai, with the cast and crew sharing insights about the film and their experiences.
Speaking at the event, actor Parithabangal Gopi thanked the producers and director Paari Ilavazhagan for the opportunity, expressing confidence that the film’s visuals and storytelling would appeal to audiences. Actress Roja described the film as a wholesome family entertainer blending emotions, relationships and love, adding that the climax would leave a lasting impact.
Producer Sathya Karikalan of Eraa Entertainment said the film goes beyond a typical love story, combining family sentiment, humour and strong emotional elements. Editor Partha highlighted the film’s rooted narrative set in Perambur and praised the casting and technical team.
Music composer Bharath Shankar said the story deeply resonated with him, particularly its portrayal of Perambur and real-life inspired characters. He expressed confidence that the film’s music and background score would enhance its emotional depth.
Director Dinakaran Sivalingam and actor-director Samuthirakani lauded Paari Ilavazhagan’s dedication and storytelling, stating that the film shows promise as a quality family entertainer. Actor Chethan noted that every character in the film has been well-written with a complete arc, calling it a “brilliant film.”
Producer Yuvaraj Ganesan, sharing a personal anecdote, spoke about the emotional core of the film and thanked those who supported his journey. Actress Ramya Ranganathan, who plays the titular role, said the film offered her a fulfilling performance and beautifully captures the Anglo-Indian culture of Perambur.
Director Paari Ilavazhagan thanked his team and collaborators, stating that the film was a collective effort shaped by passion and dedication. Actor Sasikumar, who attended as a special guest, expressed confidence that the film would emerge a major success.
Set against the backdrop of Perambur, Anbe Diana is a cross-cultural love story featuring Paari Ilavazhagan and Ramya Ranganathan in lead roles, with Roja, Chethan, Parithabangal Gopi and others in key roles. The film has music by Bharath Shankar and cinematography by Shelley Calist.
Having already generated buzz with its first look and songs, the trailer has further raised expectations. The film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on July 17, 2026.
