The cult Evil Dead franchise, created by Sam Raimi, returns with its sixth instalment, Evil Dead Burn, continuing its legacy of humans battling demonic forces unleashed by dark powers. Following the original trilogy and later films like Evil Dead (2013) and Evil Dead Rise (2023), the new film arrives as a standalone sequel, with a seventh instalment planned for 2028.
The film follows a grieving woman who moves into her in-laws’ secluded home after her husband’s death, only to face terrifying supernatural forces that turn her life into a nightmare.
Directed by Sebastien Vanicek, the film stars Souheila Yacoub, Tandy Wright, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, and Errol Shand. Cinematography is by Philip Lozano, with music by Double Danger.
Evil Dead Burn is released in India by Sony Pictures Entertainment India in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
