Chennai, July 21:

Officials of leading Wagons and Rail coach makers Titagarh Rail systems met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay and discussed about their investment plans in the state.

The meeting was held at the State Secretariat here on Monday and the company’s delegation was led by Managing Director Umesh Chowdhry, an official release said.

Based out of West Bengal, Titagarh Rail systems was a leading maker of rail coaches and goods train wagons and are also involved in shipbuilding and manufacturing railway accessories.

Titagarh is a leading comprehensive mobility solution provider with a strong presence in India. With state-of-the-art factories in India, it was meeting the diverse requirements of passenger and freight rail systems. It specializes in crafting cutting-edge transportation solutions, including semi high-speed trains, urban metros, passenger coaches, propulsion equipment, and a wide array of wagons, including specialized ones.
