The makers of Modha Rathiri, starring Rishikanth and Anishma Anilkumar, have officially announced the film’s release date along with its first look poster. The rural comedy drama is set to hit theatres worldwide on August 21, generating curiosity among audiences with its intriguing premise.
The first look poster, shared by the production house Mythri Movie Makers, features the lead pair in wedding attire, hinting at the film’s central theme. Taglined with an invitation to “witness the chaos,” the film revolves around an unusual wedding night where unexpected twists, hidden truths, and dramatic turns unfold. What begins as a new chapter in life quickly spirals into a night filled with confusion and surprises.
Directed by debutant Raja Karuppasamy, Modha Rathiri is described as a rural entertainer blending humour with emotional drama. The film boasts a strong supporting cast including Chetan, A Venkatesh, Bagavathi Perumal, Abdool Lee, Shelly Kishore, Sangeetha Balan, Banupriya, Sumithra Devi, Varshini Karmegham, Karthikeyan, Velan, and Kowshik Kabilan.
