Chennai, Aug 4:

The Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, along with his Dewan Nawabzada Mohammed Asif Ali, paid a courtesy call on Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar at Lok Bhavan in Chennai on Monday.

During the meeting, the Prince conveyed his greetings and held a cordial interaction with the Governor on matters of mutual interest. The discussion also highlighted the rich history and enduring legacy of the House of Arcot, noted for its role in promoting communal harmony and public service.

The importance of preserving Tamil Nadu’s composite cultural heritage also figured prominently in the interaction.

The meeting was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, reflecting the longstanding relationship of mutual respect between the constitutional office of the Governor and the historic legacy of the Prince of Arcot.
