Chennai, Aug 6:
The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Wednesday dismissed bail petitions of sub-registrar Justin Manikandan and Jayaprakash in a ₹100-crore fraudulent land registration case linked to the Dhandayuthapani Swamigal Mutt in Palani.
The court said granting bail at this stage would hamper the investigation, citing call records and CCTV evidence indicating coordination between the accused.
It also observed that the registration process was completed despite prior objections, suggesting intentional wrongdoing.
