The first song from Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming fantasy thriller I Am Game has been released, with “Arugey Arugey” composed by Jakes Bejoy and sung by Armaan Malik in its Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions. The Kannada version features vocals by Aniruddh Suswaram. Released in five languages, the song has quickly gained traction on social media, further raising anticipation for the film.
Directed by Nahas Hidayath, I Am Game marks Dulquer Salmaan’s 40th film and is being positioned as one of the biggest productions of his career. Produced by Dulquer and Jom Varghese under Wayfarer Films, the film has a screenplay by Sajeer Baba, Ismail Aboobacker and Bilal Moidu. With an ensemble cast featuring Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari and Samyuktha Viswanathan, the film promises a stylish blend of fantasy, action and thriller elements.
The song release comes after the film’s trailer generated strong pan-Indian buzz with its striking visuals, action sequences and high-octane chases. Shot across more than 100 locations in South India, I Am Game is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 20, as an Onam release, in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. With Jakes Bejoy’s music, Jimshi Khalid’s cinematography and action choreography by Anbariv Masters, the film is shaping up as a major pan-Indian release.
