Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been roped in to headline the upcoming cooking reality show ‘Celebrity MasterChef Tamil’, which will feature popular faces from the Tamil film industry competing in the kitchen.
Samantha said she was excited about the new venture, describing it as a completely different experience from her earlier projects. She said food has a unique ability to bring people together and that she was particularly looking forward to seeing Tamil celebrities experiment, take risks and compete with one another.
The actor has kept the participating celebrity names under wraps, teasing viewers that revealing them would take away from the fun. An adaptation of the globally popular MasterChef format, the Tamil edition will showcase local flavours and familiar faces from the Tamil entertainment industry. The show is expected to premiere soon on Sony Vizha and Sony LIV.
