The first look of The Dorm, starring popular comedian and character actor Munishkanth in the lead, has been unveiled by actor Vijay Sethupathi. Sharing the first look on social media, Vijay Sethupathi congratulated the team on the upcoming film.
Directed by debutant Deepa Sridhar, The Dorm features Munishkanth alongside social media personalities Sabaresh, Arun Karthik, Sam John, Nikhil Nair, Shalini Kasithangam, Vasundhara Srinath, Sindhu and Feroz. The film promises an entertaining narrative centred around the characters’ social media activities and their fun-filled antics, with the first look offering glimpses of Munishkanth’s distinctive appearance.
Produced by E R Dilli Balaraman and Jagadeeswaran Dilli under the Good Stuff Productions banner, the film has cinematography by Ilaiyaraja Murugesan and music by Sham Vishal and Sebastian Rosario. K Karthik has penned the dialogues, while Anil Krish handles editing and Amar Keerthi is the art director. With production completed, The Dorm is gearing up for release soon and is expected to appeal particularly to younger audiences.
