Ravi Teja-starrer Irumudi Kattu, directed by Shiva Nirvana, is set to hit theatres worldwide on August 21. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series Films, the film is centred on family, relationships, faith and the emotional bond between a father and his daughter.
The makers said the emotional core of the story and the father-daughter relationship would strike a chord with audiences. Ravi Teja is said to be seen in a different emotional avatar, while Priya Bhavani Shankar plays Kaveri and Baby Nakshathra appears in a pivotal role. Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Ramesh Indira and Swasika are also part of the cast.
Shiva Nirvana has written and directed the film, with G.V. Prakash Kumar composing the music. Vishnu Sharma is the cinematographer, Prawin Pudi is the editor and Sahi Suresh is the production designer. The producers expressed confidence that Irumudi Kattu would connect with audiences through its themes of family, emotion and transformation when it opens in cinemas on August 21.
