The trailer of ‘Hi’, starring Nayanthara and Kavin together for the first time, has been released and is receiving a positive response from fans.
The trailer promises a refreshing romantic comedy packed with love, romance, humour, fun and drama. Designed as a family entertainer, the film appears to revolve around an engaging journey filled with romance and comic situations.
Kavin plays a young man struggling to find a bride. The trailer shows him getting caught up in a series of hilarious situations as he tries to marry Nayanthara and win her heart. Their chemistry is one of the major highlights, while the trailer also offers emotional moments and intriguing twists.
Veteran actors including the late director-actor K. Bhagyaraj, Prabhu and Radhika Sarathkumar add further interest to the film. Their presence, along with the energetic pairing of Kavin and Nayanthara, has raised expectations.
Directed by debutant Vishnu Edavan, ‘Hi’ features Nayanthara, Kavin, K. Bhagyaraj, Prabhu, Radhika Sarathkumar, VTV Ganesh, Sathyan, ‘Adithya’ Kathir and Qureshi in important roles.
Rajesh Shukla is the cinematographer, while Jen Martin has composed the music. Philomin Raj is handling the editing and S. Kannan is the art director.
The film is produced by Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan and S. S. Lalit Kumar under the banners of Zee Studios, The Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio. Vinoth C. J. and K. S. Mayilvahanan are the co-producers, while V. K. Kupendran serves as the creative producer.
The film’s first single has already crossed millions of digital views and received a good response. The trailer has now further boosted expectations among moviegoers.
‘Hi’ is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on August 28, 2026.
