The first single from Karthi-starrer Sardar 2, titled ‘Mayil Veera’, has been released, giving fans a glimpse into the film’s energetic musical world ahead of its theatrical release.
Composed by Sam CS, the folk-inspired track blends traditional festive sounds with hip-hop elements and pays tribute to Lord Murugan. Ofro, Vaaheesan Rasaiya and Mukesh have lent their voices to the song, while the lyrics are penned by Ofro and Vaaheesan Rasaiya.
Directed by PS Mithran, Sardar 2 brings back Karthi in the lead role and features SJ Suryah as the antagonist. The film is the sequel to the 2022 spy-action thriller Sardar and promises a larger-scale mission with an international backdrop.
The film is currently scheduled to hit theatres on September 10. The release of ‘Mayil Veera’ has added to the anticipation surrounding the much-awaited sequel.
